You're a brick

They said

And you

Tired of taking the stick

From that nagging voice inside

Give a sigh of relief

And let down all your boundaries

Then one day

Out of nowhere

At the slightest nothing

Giving a free ticket

To your inner critic

To have a ball

You feel so small

Will this go on for ever?

There is another way

Look down at your feet

And smile

Pick up the golden brick

It was always there waiting

Hold it in your loving hands

Breathe deeply

Feel the energy

Of who you are

And aim to be

Flow through you

Into the brick

Place it on the floor

Pick up more and more

And follow your golden brick road
