Infidelity

The worst infidelity one can commit is the infidelity to oneself: lack of self love. It takes courage to look inside and hold the gaze. That is why I need to take me gently by the hand to assure me it is safe to look at myself - not in the mirror or through other people's eyes - but in the dungeon of the soul. Once I have found the strength to embrace the pain, I am free to look every woman and man in the eye, smile and be at peace.
