Dishonest so as not to be hurtful
Honest and so deemed unkind
Humming bird
Show me your way out of this double bind!
For my words are condemned as evil
Not as a mercy of its own kind
You can fly but I am stranded
Betray heart or the mind?
Humming bird
You defend your territory, stationary
Hovering in the air
I too shall be just as bold
Hovering over honesty and kindness
Until the conundrum is resolved!
