Time for Tea

Today

I invited the dysfunctional parts of me

For tea

It took them by surprise

But they came

We talked, cried and laughed together

I promised to be more compassionate towards them

To give them space to have their say

In return

They agreed not to steal the show

And to let my inner light glow
