I was expecting
A love story
Of enviable passion
In all its glory
Instead
We embark upon
A meandering ride
Through crystalline poetry
Of everyday lives
In the Georgian city of Kutaisi
Beauty shining in a smile
Football shimmering in the air
Children sparkling in their bodies
Dogs on noble errands
Birds protagonists in the park
People talking on White Bridge
And the relentless river
Flowing fiercely through
Kutaisi's everyday emotions
